Terms and Conditioms

Welcome to OA Legal Consultancy (UK) Ltd’s website. By accessing or using our website (the “Site”), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”). OA Legal Consultancy (UK) Ltd (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides non-reserved legal services only within England and Wales, except where expressly stated through our Site. We are an online legal consultancy firm and operate exclusive as such, until stated otherwise. Our services are tailored to meet the specific your needs. Only where we provide services within the Republic of Ghana, that the services provided are reserved legal services in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ghana.
1.2. Regulatory Authority
OA Legal Consultancy (UK) Ltd is not a law firm and nor do we purport to hold ourselves as one. We do not provide reserved legal services as defined by the Legal Services Act 2007. As a result, we are not regulated by the Law Society, SRA or BSB. We are not Solicitors, Barrister or Legal Practitioners and therefore do not accept service of any legal documents.
2. Eligibility
By using our Site, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years old.
- You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract as defined by English Law
- You are not prohibited by any applicable laws from accessing our Site or using our services.
If you are using the Site on behalf of a company or any other legal entity, you are deemed to be an agent, employee, representative, or a person deemed to have capacity and authority to enter into a binding and enforceable contract on behalf of a company or any other legal entity, and agree to be bound to these Terms.
3. Scope of Our Services
OA Legal Consultancy (UK) Ltd provides non-reserved legal services, including but not limited to:
- Contract drafting and review.
- Eviction support services.
- Housing disrepair advice.
- Employment law consultations.
- Regulatory and compliance consultancy.
- Legal services within the jurisdiction of the Republic of Ghana.
- General legal consultancy
Our services are non-regulated and do not include reserved legal activities as defined by the Legal Services Act 2007. Where reserved legal services are required, we will refer you to a panel of qualified solicitors within England and Wales. Where you have been referred to our selected panel of solicitors, we do not accept any liability for negligence.
4. Account Registration and Use
4.1. Account Creation:
Where applicable, to access certain features of our Site or purchase our services, you may be required to register an account. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep your account information updated.
4.2. Confidentiality
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities conducted under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access or use of your account.
4.3. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion if we suspect any unauthorized or illegal activity.
5. Purchases and Payments
5.1. Pricing
All prices for our services and products are listed in GBP (£) and are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise specified. We reserve the right to update our pricing without prior notice.
5.2. Service-Specific Fees
Some services may require additional fees, which will be disclosed to you before purchase.
5.3. Payment Period
Payment is required in full within 14 days of the invoice date.

Payments can be made via bank transfer or other methods specified on the invoice.
5.5. Late Payment
In the event of late payment, OA Legal Consultancy reserves the right to:
- Charge interest on the overdue amount at a rate of 3% per annum above the Bank of England base rate, calculated daily from the due date until full payment is received.
- Where legal action is taken to recover any outstanding payment, we reserve the right to recovery any reasonable cost incurred as a result of breach of the terms and conditions.
Suspend or terminate ongoing services until payment is received.
5.6. Disputes
Any disputes regarding an invoice must be raised in writing within 7 days of the invoice date. Failure to dispute within this period will be deemed acceptance of the charges.
5.7. Refund Policy
Refunds for services are subject to our [Refund Policy], which outlines conditions and processes for requesting a refund.
6. Intellectual Property Rights
6.1. Ownership
All content on our Site, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of OA Legal Consultancy (UK) Ltd or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
